Stuffed fruit waffle

Ingredients

500 gm of flour
25 gm of fresh yeast
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
2 dl of milk
80 gm of butter
100 gm of sugar
pinch of ground cinnamon
A pinch of salt

Preparation

PREPARATION FILLING:

The easy way. Take 250 gm of fruit compote with pieces and mix it with the cornflour

Or make the fruit filling yourself: 50 gm of sugar - 500 gm of fruit - potato flour -1 lemon
Boil 1 dl. of water with 100 gm of sugar and the juice of 1 lemon.Let this boil for about 5 minutes until it becomes a syrup.
Clean 500 gm of fruits such as strawberries, berries and blackberries, raspberries. If you choose cherries, halve them and remove the seeds.
Cut other fruits into small pieces.
Heat the fruit in the syrup for approx. 5 minutes without allowing it to boil. Take the fruits out of the syrup.
Stir 1 or more tablespoon of cornflour smoothly with some water and bind the syrup with it (it will become a thick syrup).
Pour the syrup over the fruits and let the compote cool for at least an hour.
Pour the flour into a mixing bowl and make a well in the center of the flour.
Heat the milk.
Dilute half the milk with yeast and pour the other half into the well of the flour.
Add the sugar, eggs and egg yolk and finally the melted butter.
Mix everything well.
Add the remaining milk, cinnamon and salt.
Knead the dough well for 10 minutes and then let it rise for 2 hours.
Divide the dough into pieces and roll them out rectangularly.
Place the fruit compote in half and fold the uncovered part over thecovered portion of the dough.
The dimensions must correspond to the dimensions of the baking form of the waffle iron.
Let the waffle iron heat up.
Then bake for 4 minutes and turn the waffle maker and then bake for another 3 minutes.
Remove the fruit waffles if they are baked golden brown.
